Alice Cooper’s SOLID ROCK

Alice Cooper’s SOLID ROCK nonprofit organization is our frontline partner who comes from the music scene. He joined our cause for this reason – to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to as many people as possible.

“Solid Rock’s primary goal is to help meet the spiritual, economical, physical, and social needs of teenagers and children in our community.” – Alice and Sheryl Cooper

Solid Rock was founded in 1995 by long-time Arizona residents and devoted fathers Alice Cooper and Chuck Savale who envisioned a faith-based organization dedicated to make an everlasting difference in the lives of kids and teens in the community. Originally, Solid Rock existed to raise money for other organizations with like-minded missions, however, the dream went well beyond its original fundraising foundation. Alice and Chuck dreamed of a center that allows teens to build confidence and discover their passion through music, dance, self-expression, and creativity.

With the opening of The Rock Teen Center at 32nd Street in the Spring 2012, the dream has finally become a reality. Maintaining “a kid’s worst enemy is too much time on their hands,” Solid Rock will provide the programs and resources lacking in today’s schools at the The Rock to fill that time with music, dance, fellowship, and vocational opportunities in the sound, lighting, and staging industry.

The Rock is the foundation that will help Solid Rock fulfill its mission to create a model for an arts-based teen center that will serve as creative sanctuary for troubled teens in this community and across the country in the future.
